Born in an artistic family; her grandfather was a handcrafted jeweler, her mother is an artist and dressmaker for her local community, and her elder brother is a graduate in Textile Technology + Architecture who now lives and works in England, it would seem natural for ZINAIDA AMEERALLY RAMJAN( Graduate in Fashion/Textile/Jewellery Design) to pursue a career in the design field.

At an early age, Zinaida uses to steal her mum's nice dresses and fabrics to cut and make little nice dresses for her dolls. At the age of 12, during school holidays, she started to sew school uniforms for her friends.
During her college years, she always came first in all her Art final exams.

After school graduation, she decided to take over her mum's jobs. After several courses in dress making and pattern drafting, she started in the fashion world by designing and sewing her two sisters- in- laws wedding dresses and during two years she has created and sewn stunning garments and accessories for relatives, friends and new clients. During these two years, she was also sharing her knowledge with other people by organizing workshop classes twice per week in dressmaking and pattern- drafting at her own place.

After two years in the creative world of designing and sewing, as an ambitious and innovative person, she decided to further her career, so she took several courses in CAD, Art & Design, Fine Arts, Handicraft, Advanced Pattern- drafting from different Vocational Training Institutions and from the University.
Finally, she becomes a graduate in Fashion/Textile Design from James Watt College of Scotland & IVTB of Mauritius, where she was proclaim first in her class.

Just after her five years of hard and intensive courses, she received a job proposition from the well-known and respected Lady, Mrs JANET REGER (All our sincere sympathy for her family and great respect for this adorable Lady who passed away in March 2005), who came in person to meet Zinaida A. R in the final year of Fashion/Textile exhibition.
Without any hesitation, Zinaida A. R accepted the job proposition as a 'Technical Designer' in the company Janet Reger International which has its branch in Mauritius.
With her stunning work and unusual styles, very soon Zinaida A. R joined the dynamic designer team and after more years of hard-work, she was promoted as HEAD DESIGNER in the company and started to travel to Europe for trend research and visits to 'Interfilliere Shows'.

After five years of hard- work and dedicated service to the company as a person with unlimited boundaries, Zinaida A. R discover that she has more magic in her fingers, the art of creating masterpiece fashion jewellery with rare and exotic Gemstones, Pearls and Crystals.
